Description
Scientell worked with Questacon to develop 80 Brain Break trivia questions for National Science Week, targeted towards different age groups, from lower primary to adult. The trivia explored surprising and memorable science facts, from what comets smell like to the price of the world’s most expensive materials. Each question was researched and written to ensure scientific accuracy while maintaining a sense of wonder, humour and curiosity. To maximise engagement and accessibility, Scientell designed the trivia resources in both printable PDF and presentation-style formats. The resources featured bold, colourful and eye-catching designs aligned with National Science Week branding and style guidelines.
Alongside the trivia activities, Scientell developed an additional activity called Sounds of Science, where participants were asked to identify mystery sounds linked with science. This involved sourcing and curating audio clips, writing creative hints and science explanations, hosting audio files on an online platform, and designing supporting answer sheets.
