Infographic summaries for the Net-Zero Industries Mission

The Net-Zero Industries Mission engaged Scientell to develop infographics that summarised a series of greenhouse gas emission demonstration projects. Infographics are a powerful communication tool for concisely conveying large amounts of information and for explaining complex concepts through clear diagrams.

Client: Net Zero Industries Mission and Heavy Industry Low-carbon Transition Cooperative Research Centre (HILT CRC)

Audience: Energy-intensive industries worldwide, people interested in emissions reduction from industry

Description

Mission Innovation is a global initiative by Australia and Austria, involving 10 countries. It includes the Net-Zero Industries Mission (NIM), which supports the adoption of efficient decarbonisation of hard-to-abate energy-intensive industries.

NIM and Australia’s Heavy Industry Low-carbon Transition Cooperative Research Centre (HILT CRC) required infographics that summarise a series of 20 greenhouse gas emission demonstration projects. The 20 projects were grouped by technology and summarised into 5 infographics, incorporating bite-sized text elements and illustrative icons.

Scientell collaborated with NIM and its partners, including the HILT CRC and Worley, to identify the key messages required before developing attractive infographics with graphic designer Esther Gonstalla.

We worked with NIM to finalise the style and content of the infographics, and establish a clearance and approval procedure.

Innovative Features

We developed animated infographics and LinkedIn carousel posts for use on social media. The infographics can be used together to summarise all projects or as standalone communication products for presentations and other activities.
