Video, podcast and animation

Scientell has a number of trusted, expert partners with whom we collaborate in order to offer our clients a wide range of services.

Animation

We work with Animate Your Science to create informative and engaging animations.

Increasing your impact with movement and sound

We also offer video and audio (podcast) packages, to help your science achieve its maximum impact.

Scientell collaborates with two international media production companies Stepping Stone Films and Relativistic Media.

We help scientists communicate and enhance the impact of their work using compelling video and audio. We can work with you and your researchers to produce engaging podcasts and short video summaries of your recently published research. These audio and video summaries are tailored for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, podcast sites, and will be excellent additions to your agency’s web site.

1. Videos

We apply our video and storytelling expertise, and science communication skills, to work with researchers to produce compelling video. Our practical support includes:

  • identifying narratives and key messages
  • planning video structure
  • developing script and contents
  • managing all aspects of production, including recommended hardware and software
  • assisting with product distribution.

With our guidance, researchers will be able to record themselves with enough video and audio clarity to allow us to create high-quality videos using remote footage. Post-COVID, we offer a professional video recording service.

We can also help with elements such as animations and illustrative stock footage, which can present complex material in a way that resonates with target audiences.

2. Podcasts

As for videos, we apply our storytelling and science communication skills to work with researchers to produce compelling audio. Our practical support includes:

  • identifying narratives and key messages
  • planning podcast structure
  • developing script and contents, which will often take the form of edited questions and answers during a friendly interview
  • managing all aspects of production, including recommended hardware and software
  • assisting with product distribution.

Podcasts can be presented in interview/Q&A format, or using just the answers by the researcher(s). With the flexibility afforded by audio-only production, podcast participation can be as simple as accepting a phone call.
